About the event

In this session, Dr. Alellie B. Sobreviñas will present the results of a systematic review study that examines and synthesizes the different uses and applications of community-based monitoring initiatives in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Alellie B. Sobreviñas  is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Research and Advanced Studies at the School of Economics of De La Salle University. Her PhD research investigates the usefulness of the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) in understanding the relationship between international migration and poverty. Prior to her doctoral study, she worked for the Community-Based Monitoring System  Network (a sub-network of the Partnership for Economic Policy [PEP], formerly Poverty and Economic Policy International Research Network) where she had the opportunity to participate in various CBMS- and poverty-related research projects, in collaboration with various international, national and local development partners.  Her current research interests focus on poverty, international migration, development economics, impact evaluation and CBMS.

We meet as usually in our Blackboard room: https://eu.bbcollab.com/collab/ui/session/guest/e2f845f38b064be7a7e1461969fa7d77
